Cauliflower Steaks

Cauliflower steaks are a simple tasty side that requires a minimal amount of work. Adjust the seasoning  to your personal taste.  You will be bowled over at how well cauliflower can taste.

1 head of cauliflower (about 3 lbs)
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

In small bowl whisk together the olive oil, garlic, parsley, paprika, onion powder, crushed red pepper, salt and black pepper.
Remove the leaves and trim the stem end of the cauliflower.  Leave the core intact.  Place the cauliflower stem side down on a sturdy cutting board.  Cut 1/2 inch wide sections
