Portuguese Milk Tarts

Portuguese Milk Tarts, Queijadas de Leite, are a traditional Portuguese dessert recipe made with simple ingredients. Milk, sugar, butter, eggs, and a little flour bake up into sweet, creamy pastries that you can find in many Portuguese bakeries

2 cups Sugar
1 cup Flour
4 Eggs beaten
½ cup Butter melted
3 ¾ cups Whole milk
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a large bowl combine 2 cups of sugar and flour.
Whisk in beaten eggs, then add melted butter, continuing to whisk, and then milk.
Pour mixture into greased muffin tin, filling them to a little more than ¾ full.
