Vegan Chocolate Doughnuts

A vegan chocolate doughnut recipe you'll fall in love with and want to make over and over again! They're very easy to make and are finished off with a sugary glaze that takes them over the top! This recipe also includes a gluten free option! 

For the Doughnuts
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
3 tablespoons water
3/4 cup gluten free flour OR all-purpose flour (see notes below)
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup + 3 tablespoons coconut sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
For the Glaze
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons warm non-dairy milk
1/8 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Grease your doughnut pan (if needed).
Prepare your flax egg by whisking together ground flax seeds and water. Set aside to thicken.
In a large bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and coconut sugar.
